Garlic Press and Peeler Set Review #AlphaGrillers

Of all of the kitchen gadgets, tools, and appliances I've bought over the years... I have never had a garlic press. Why? I just thought of them as hard-to-clean, messy, and unnecessary.

I've been using the new Garlic Press and Peeler Set from Alpha Grillers  and it's fantastic! Mike and I use garlic all the time. Generally, we use jarred, minced garlic, but no longer.

There is something special about using fresh garlic: the fragrance of fresh garlic entices the senses. The taste is enticing. It makes the meal incredible.

We used it first to make spaghetti the other night. I spiral sliced zucchini and then Mike took the garlic press in hand and pressed several cloves. Yes, it made a HUGE difference. Kiss the jarred garlic goodbye -- we won't be needing that any longer.

Afterwards, the clean up was quick and easy.

Simply rinse the press in hot water and use a knife to pick out any bits that get stuck in the holes.  Do this immediately after use and you will find that you can remove all the garlic and peel very quickly and easily. You can leave it at that, or if you want to remove any residual garlic smell from the press either put it in the dishwasher or wash it in soapy water.
For the peeler, flick it a few times with your finger to knock out any big bits of peel, then give it a brief rinse to remove any smaller bits still stuck to the inside of the tube.

Easy peasy!

Features of the Alpha Grillers Garlic Press and Peeler Set:

1. Premium solid stainless steel garlic press
2. Mince unpeeled cloves with ease (peel stays in - minced garlic comes out!)
3. Ergonomically designed for easy squeezing
4. Works great for pressing ginger too
5. Premium silicone garlic peeler (insert clove -> roll tube back and forth -> tip out perfectly peeled clove)
6. Dishwasher safe
7. Beautifully presented in luxury gift box
8. BONUS E-BOOK: "50 Delicious Recipes Using Crushed and Sliced Garlic"

The Press and peeler are very easy to use, too. Mike did it, I did it. Trust me, YOU can do it, too! :)

Make sure the peeler is dry before use.  If it is wet inside it won't work as well as the clove will slide around inside.
Pop one unpeeled garlic clove into the peeler.
Roll it back and forth on a flat surface a few times. You should hear a bit of a crackling noise as the skin becomes separated from the garlic.
Tip the peeled clove out, then flick the peeler to knock out any loose skin from inside the tube before putting in the next clove

Repeat these steps until you have enough peeled garlic.

STORAGE: Since the press is made made from solid, high quality stainless steel it is very resistant rusting, so you don't have to worry about how you store it. Just let it dry and pop it in the draw. The peeler is also very durable and can be stored as you choose.

You will not be disappointed in this clever, useful tool. If you love to cook and you love garlic (like we do), you will find the Garlic Press and Peeler Set to be an invaluable addition to your kitchen!
